Stock of the 2017 Touch Bar versions seemed to dry up pretty quickly and most of the remaining stock actually costs more than the new 2018 upgrades, so we can’t really suggest them.

However, this version does not come with the Touch Bar, which helps to keep down the price as it turned out to be a costly additional function. And unlike variants featuring the illuminated touch-keyboard component, prices on the 2017 MacBook Pro have fallen beautifully, meaning you can save some severe money and still get a strong laptop.

This MacBook Pro’s screen and general shape did not alter on the iteration of the prior year, but this MacBook Pro was reinforced by the speed boost of the Kaby Lake 7th-gen processor. Throw yourself into a beautiful Retina display and at least 8 GB of RAM and look for a multitasking device appropriate for everything from day-to-day operations, extensive media editing and creative design work.
