Call of Duty Mobile

The COD mobile game went live with 5 maps!

Call of Duty: Mobile, Activision’s much-anticipated PUBG Mobile competitor, is now accessible to play around the globe on Android and iPhones. The first-person shooter game is based in the same universe as the new Call of Duty franchise and features the past games ‘ famous maps, personalities and weapons.

The Call of Duty mobile game was released in late-2018 at a point when PUBG Mobile was gaining incredible momentum, developed by Activision and Tencent’s Timi Studio. Shortly afterwards, a public beta version of the battle royale game was published by the developers and is now lastly accessible on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

A well-known experience

Call of Duty: With games such as Modern Warfare and Black Ops, Mobile picks up a lot of components and places from the series ‘ catalog that extends for over 16 years. So, if you’re a COD fan, you’ll instantly feel at home playing the portable version.

The game features famous characters from the Modern Warfare and Black Ops series such as John “Soap” MacTavish and Simon “Ghost” Riley and Alex Mason. Multiplayer modes include gameplay styles for Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Practice vs AI and Search & Destroy. Domination and mode Search & Destroy are accessible, but first you need to unlock them.

The game actually has five maps, including Crash, Killhouse, Crossfire, Nuketown and Hijacked, to participate in an intense fight. The game also had a zombie mode earlier in the beta stage, but the same is missing from the game’s public release.

Judging by the description of the Play Store for the app, designers may have planned their rollout for a subsequent date.

Players will have access to the battle royal mode of COD mobile once they achieve level 7. It includes Solo, Duo or a team of four members with iconic guns and cars including an ATV, helicopter and tactical raft. Players can also move to prospects of first-person or third-person.

Overall, Call of Duty: Mobile faces huge competition from competitors PUBG Mobile and Fortnite who got the first-mover advantage when it took Activision to create a competitive game. How’s the play going to work out? We’re going to have to wait to find out.

The game for Android and iOS can be downloaded from Google Play Store (here) and Apple App Store (here) by interested folks.
