OnePlus 7T Pro

The OnePlus 7 T Pro has been revealed and it comes as the mid-life upgrade to the OnePlus 7 Pro. But is there sufficient reason for the proprietors of OnePlus 7 Pro to upgrade or wait for the next model?

  • The OnePlus 7T Pro starts at Rs 53,999 with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
  • The OnePlus 7 Pro price has dropped down to Rs 44,999 for the base version.
  • Technically, the OnePlus 7T Pro only offers marginal upgrades over the OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus stripped off the wraps from the OnePlus 7 T Pro at an event in London, which comes in a few months ago as the update to the OnePlus 7 Pro. The 7 T Pro is part of the new OnePlus 7 T series providing a standard across the spectrum of the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chip. Furthermore, OnePlus has come up with more refinements for the new phones and the 7 T Pro is having some too, which may not seem as dramatic as the OnePlus 7 T’s but just enough to christen it to the original model’s T update.

For a couple of days I’ve been using the OnePlus 7 T Pro and I’m quite pleased with the device. But with the OnePlus 7 Pro, that was and still is the case. OnePlus will prove on paper that the 7 T Pro is a superior telephone and there is no question about it. It has a more powerful cpu, a quicker charging system, and a slightly upgraded camera, so the OnePlus 7 T Pro appears to be the obvious choice.

But the OnePlus 7 Pro is still available, and those with it face the buyer’s dilemma of whether they made a mistake by purchasing the slightly older version. Okay, if you’re distressed, your problem will be solved by the next few macros.

So what’s new in the OnePlus 7T Pro?

Personally, there are only three places where updates are made by OnePlus. And they are as following are:

The Battery:

That’s slightly larger than the 7 Pro’s 4000mAh battery at 4085mAh. Nonetheless, as OnePlus notes, the battery was reengineered and the upgrades resulted in higher loading speeds with the same 30W Warp Charge adapter. How quickly? OnePlus says its 23 times quicker and that instantly is what is used to by a OnePlus client. Better OnePlus update (clap clap).

Macro Camera:

What’s a new shutterbugs addition. There are good cameras in the OnePlus 7 Pro and adding a macro lens just improves the camera system’s flexibility. You can take close-up shots from the subject as close as 2.5 cm with the macro mode. It worked nicely on the OnePlus 7 T, and on the 7 T Pro I’m only expecting better results.

New Chipset:

This is a technologically improved 7 Pro chip model. OnePlus used the Snapdragon 855 Plus, which provides 15 percent better graphics quality and four percent better CPU performance, according to Qualcomm. And if you’re spending half your day playing PUBG MOBILE or Call of Duty Mobile, having more energy in your hands is always good.

But is it worth upgrading the OnePlus 7 T Pro from the 7 Pro?

No. If you’ve got the OnePlus 7 Pro, just stick to it, unless you’re the type of person in the pocket who wants the latest phones.

The OnePlus 7 T Pro gets nice mid-life updates and for someone who wants to buy a new premium phone now, that’s a good thing. Yet for those who already have the 7 Pro, the new phone deals don’t make a big difference.

The OnePlus 7 Pro still has the same amazing 6.6-inch Quad HD+ Optic AMOLED display with the smooth 90Hz refresh rate, one of the best mobile displays you’ve ever seen. Notch haters like the pop-up camera that only appears when it’s necessary. And what compliments the great display is a super-polished and smooth Oxygen OS application that I believe offers Android’s best iteration. And if you love taking photos, the OnePlus 7 Pro’s triple rear cameras will impress with quality in any lighting situation and right up with the Pixel 3.

Indeed, with the 7 Pro, you don’t get the Macro mode that doesn’t make a big difference. The Warp Charge 30 remains

The most important thing about your budget

The OnePlus 7 T Pro is priced at Rs 53,999 in India and that’s a good price for a powerhouse of a phone. If you can spend more than Rs 50,000, I’ll definitely recommend the 7 T Pro as a flagship phone for all the new features it provides.

OnePlus still markets the OnePlus 7 Pro, however, and it’s basically the same phone as the 7 T Pro, except for faster charging, slightly more powerful processor and macro lens. The OnePlus 7 Pro starting at Rs 44,999 is much better value if you can do without these three upgrades. You get the same modern design, the same validated capable cameras, the smooth buttery quality and the impressive screen while saving nearly Rs 10,000 from the ba
